Purpose of Role

We are currently looking to recruit a Maintenance Technician to our NHS Contract

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for a range of Maintenance Duties across site. Responsible for providing a full and comprehensive maintenance service to the retained and new hospital buildings based in the Wirral.

Responsibilities

- Undertake carpentry & joinery tasks, floor, wall and ceiling tile replacement, roof repairs, plaster repairs, brickwork, drainage, and other works associated with the upkeep and maintenance of the building fabric.
- Assist in replacement of components and systems as part of life cycle obligations.
- Liaise with external contractors and other staff.

Essential Qualifications/Skills

- Experience of hands on repairs, e.g self managed DIY projects
- Healthcare experience would be beneficial
