Spectrum IT's UK National Client are seeking to recruit a Contract Data Migration Analyst to join them on an initial 5 month contract. The role has been deemed OUTSIDE IR35 and will offer full remote working for a UK based candidate.As the Contract Data Migration Analyst you will support the project transformation team who are currently working on the implementation of a new management system. You will take a leading role focusing on the data migration and will ensure the successful mapping, configuration and data quality are accurately generated primarily using MSSQL. This project will gather data from 3 previous management systems and legacy software and migrated to the new management system. Your overall aim will be to take a hands on role and support the design activity on data management and BI systems.
Building high-quality, accessible data models and stores, including full documentation of source and target maps
Provide maintenance of an information and data catalogue and metadata repository
Generating information management testing and quality controls in both new and existing projects, and day to day operations
Develop and manage ETL workloads to run predictably, efficiently and effectively whilst monitoring, maintaining and supporting all data management services and processes
Work with and liaise with IT, service vendors and internal business teams as necessary, to deliver high availability of insight services.
Extract data from legacy sources and take a ETL approach for new system
Previous experience working with and handling housing sector data/systems will be key. Active H, NEC, Open Housing or Northgate
Experience in designing and developing a data Factory
SSIS / SSRS
Experience in identifying and mitigating issues and risks associated with their development work.
Experience data modelling and a thorough understanding of logical modelling concepts
Experience with databases and analytics, including relational databases (e.g. SQL Server), Data Warehousing and business analytics tools
Broad understanding of BI information exploitation methods including ad-hoc queries, data mining techniques, data visualisation, real-time intelligence and data exploration.
Identification and resolution of problems in databases, data processes, data products and services
Analysis and reporting of test activities and results
Able to present clear insights to colleagues to support the end use of the data
Candidates for this role are required to have experience within the housing sector utilising housing systems such as Active H, NEW, Northgate or Opening Housing.
