Career Teachers are seeking an experienced HLTA - Higher Level Teaching Assistant (QTS not required for this role) at a fantastic primary school in Croydon, South London

This is a full-time role, beginning ASAP, working with early years children. We are looking for someone motivated and proactive, with experience working with children with challenging behaviour.

As a HLTA, you will be responsible for teaching/assisting with teaching all national curriculum subjects, including Maths, English, Music, and Physical Education. You will plan curriculum-aligned lessons, create a safe and motivating classroom environment, monitor student progress, provide feedback, implement behaviour expectations, assess assignments and tests, and communicate with parents and school leaders.

We seek passionate HLTAs with expertise in teaching methods, effective communication, and the ability to inspire students of all abilities. Candidates must be dedicated to creating ideal learning conditions, safeguarding children, and proficient in office software. Previous in-school teaching experience,
Fluency in English, both spoken and written,
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
07% holiday pay.
