As a Barclays Senior Web Developer, you will have an exciting opportunity to actively contribute to platform enhancements requested by the product owner or business users. Being responsible for working on all aspects of analysis, design, implementation and deployment of software
Focusing on good code quality and high test coverage and actively participate in code reviews
Contributing to the delivery of complex projects in collaboration with global teams across Barclays
Participating DevOps improvements for applications maintained by the team
Being responsible for designing and implementing changes in environment configuration, deployment automation, application monitoring
Engaging with business and technology partners to assist with the planning and execution of project work is expected
Delivering effectively complex projects involving multiple business and technical teams
Experience and excellent skills in JS & Typescript and proficient with HTML5, CSS 3, SASS & Responsive design
Experience building modern webapps preferable with Angular 3+ framework
Solid understanding of fundamental web technologies such as REST and JSON as well as of web standards, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility
Experience with writing unit tests jasmine, mocha, jest or karma
Skills that will help you in the role:
JIRA), Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum/Kanban)
Experience with DevOps tools: Webapp framework React, Vue, Svelte, etc. js, NPM, NVM, etc
Experience with Test automation with Selenium, Cypress or similar or UI/UX Design tools, figma, Adobe XD, Sketch
