Job Title: Senior Support Worker Location: Dundee About Us: My client is a leading provider of support services for individuals with a variety of needs. They are dedicated to delivering person-centered care and support that promotes independence, dignity, and wellbeing. Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Support Worker to join our team. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a key role in leading and supporting a team of support workers to deliver high-quality care and support to our clients. Responsibilities:

  • Providing leadership and guidance to a team of support workers
  • Coordinating and allocating work tasks, ensuring that support is delivered effectively and in line with individual care plans
  • Providing hands-on support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs
  • Undertaking assessments and reviews of individual care plans
  • Liaising with families, carers, and external professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to care
  • Monitoring and reporting on the progress and wellbeing of clients
  • Supporting with staff training, development, and supervision
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in a similar role within the social care sector
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centered care
