Are you an experienced or aspiring SEN TA passionate about making a real difference in children's and young people's lives in Leatherhead, Surrey? We're seeking dedicated individuals to join us as Full-Time SEN TAs, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in Leatherhead, Surrey. This is a long term position (temp to perm). Position: Full-Time SEN TA (temp to perm opportunity) Location: Leatherhead, Surrey KT22 Hours: 8:45 am - 3:15 pm, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only) Salary: £75.00 - £90.00 per day As a SEN TA at our SEN School you'll play a crucial role in nurturing and empowering our students with SEN, providing personalised support to help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting SEN pupils in various subjects and activities, tailored to their individual needs and learning styles. Supporting the inclusion and integration of SEN pupils within classroom settings, ensuring they feel valued and supported. Collaborating closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective strategies for student progress and development. Providing pastoral care and emotional support to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for all. The ideal SEN TA will possess: Previous experience working with children, particularly those with SEN (desired but not essential). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, and colleagues. A patient, empathetic approach, with the ability to adapt to the diverse needs of our students.
