Finance Assistant | Chorley | Permanent – Flexible working | Up to £29,000 FTE | Part time optional

Your new company A reputable and fast-growing business, based in Chorley is looking to recruit a Finance Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis, based from their head office. This organisation has a history of longevity and a family feel, with great morale. The working pattern is Monday – Friday, between 25-37.5 hours per week with a 30-minute lunch break.
Your new role In your new role as Finance Administrator, you will be working amongst the Accounts Team to support the business in raising invoices, processing expenses, and supporting with all other operational administrative duties. Updating client information, telephone & email communication and supporting the team to efficiently resolve outstanding queries, whilst assisting with reports for Management, as and when required. You will be expected to undertake any administrative tasks/projects as required to aid the function of the team.
What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this, you should have strong administrative experience and have knowledge of accounting functions, along with brief experience of working on financial systems. You should be a team player, able to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines, along with being computer-literate with a knowledge of Microsoft packages, including excel – familiarity with formulas / Lookups and Sage 50 are desirable. You will have a high attention to detail with a can-do, flexible, and enthusiastic attitude towards work.
What you'll get in return In return for this, you will be offered a salary up to £29,000 depending on experience and will be working within a well-established team, in a modern working environment. You will have the option to work part-time hours over 5 days, with hours available from 25 to 37.5.
You will start with 28 days holiday, which will increase with years of service to 33 days, along with free onsite parking and other company benefits. # 4564997
