Full Time, 10 Programmed Activities per week Fixed Term until August 2024 Oakwell Centre, Kendray Hospital, Doncaster Road, Barnsley, S70 3RD South West Yorkshire Partnership Foundation Trust are recruiting for a Locum Appointment for Service Acting to join the Barnsley Intensive Home-Based Treatment Team based at The Oakwell Centre, Kendray Hospital, Barnsley. This role plays a vital part in ensuring our patients live well, in the community and will be an integral role within the Barnsley team. Person Specification Experience Essential- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to gain confidence of patients.
- Participate in continuous professional development.
- Willing to take instruction.
- Ability to relate with non-medical staff effectively.
- Interest in psychiatry and desire to explore this career option.
- Undertaken research at undergraduate or postgraduate level.
- Previous evidence of an interest in, or a commitment to psychiatry.
- Experience of working in the NHS.
- MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
- In good standing with GMC with respect to warning and conditions on practice.
- Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment.
