Clear Edge has partnered with a leading iGaming provider to recruit a Senior Python Developer . This is a chance to join a fast-growing company where you’ll play a vital role integrating their Remote Gaming Server (RGS) with global casino platforms, ensuring secure, scalable, and seamless performance for millions of players.
You’ll design and deliver high-performance backend systems, lead complex RGS integrations, and optimise performance in high-volume environments. Acting as a technical leader, you’ll also mentor junior developers, guide best practices, and contribute to the team’s long-term strategy.
Develop backend systems and APIs in Python for gaming functions such as wallets, transactions, and data flows.
Optimise performance in high-throughput, low-latency environments.
Provide mentorship and enforce coding best practices.
Maintain automated testing frameworks and technical documentation.
5+ years’ backend Python development with API integration expertise ideally in the B2B iGaming sector.
~ Strong Python (asyncio, multithreading, multiprocessing) and frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
~ Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB).
~ Experience building RESTful APIs and working with WebSockets.
~ RGS or casino platform integration experience highly desirable, plus knowledge of RNG, game states, and transactions.
~ Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), and CI/CD pipelines.
~ You’ll shape technical direction, lead major integrations, and be part of a company scaling rapidly in iGaming.
