Working closely with the Senior Head of Facilities, and other members of the Estates and Facilities Senior Management Team, the postholder will lead on the day to day operational management of soft Facilities Management (FM) services.


The jobholder will support the Senior Head of Facilities in developing long term strategic plans which support Trust-wide organisational objectives, performance monitoring and service improvement in line with internal and external performance targets.


The jobholder will be a key member of the Estates and Facilities Senior Management Team and will provide professional advice to senior management colleagues, care groups and clinical business units, and will deputise for the Senior Head of Facilities on relevant professional matters as they relate to soft FM services.


The jobholder will assist the Senior Head of Facilities in the development and implementation of an Annual Facilities Plan.


The jobholder will help to deliver a comprehensive service improvement agenda and provide a key role in the delivery of wider specific Trust initiatives, including developingbusiness cases for reframing existing FM services, or for the delivery of new or expanded services.


The jobholder will provide assurance to the Senior Head of Faciliities and the Director of Estates and Facilities as appropriate, on FM service improvement, compliance standards, business-continuity, mandatory and statutory compliance.

Management Development training.

Post graduate diploma in management, or equivalent experience of specialist knowledge across a range of work procedures and practices.
