I'm recruiting for a senior projects manager Job Summary:
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing complex projects from initiation through completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The Senior Project Manager will also play a key role in mentoring junior project managers and contributing to the continuous improvement of project management practices within the organization.
Project Planning & Execution:
Lead the development of detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Oversee the execution of project plans, ensuring that all activities are completed according to established timelines and quality standards.
Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues to minimize impact on project objectives.
Stakeholder Management:
Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Facilitate regular status meetings and provide transparent reporting on project progress, risks, and issues.
Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring that team members have clear roles, responsibilities, and objectives.
Provide coaching and mentorship to junior project managers and team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Resolve conflicts and ensure that the team is working effectively to achieve project goals.
Budget & Resource Management:
Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring that all financial targets are met.
Allocate resources effectively, balancing project needs with organizational constraints.
Monitor project spending and take corrective action as necessary to keep the project on budget.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure that all project deliverables meet the highest quality standards and comply with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
Implement best practices in project management and continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and outcomes.
Change Management:
Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
Ensure that all change requests are documented, reviewed, and approved before implementation.
Communicate changes and their impacts to stakeholders and project teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of managing large and complex projects.
