Reporting to the Centre Manager (or Assistant Centre Manager as appropriate) you will take responsibility for carrying out mechanical servicing and repair on a variety of car and light vans. We strive to be the best the in our industry in every part of the business and pride ourselves on consistently delivering excellent customer service and making the customer experience a memorable one.Further DetailsThe ideal Mechanical Technician must possess:Experience in a Mechanical Technician positionAn NVQ qualification Level 2, 3 or equivalentIdeally experience in a Mechanical Technician role would be an advantage in areas such as; Tyres, Exhausts, BatteriesGood understanding/experience of repairs and mechanical servicing and brakingLogical problem-solving skillsFull UK driving licence with no more than 9 points (you will be subject to licence checks)The ability to interact with our customers effectively; especially when explaining faultsAct on your own initiative and take responsibility for the quality of your own workThe willingness to constantly learn and improve your own performance and that of the businessExperience in a professional workshop environmentGood approach to customer serviceFlexibility toward working hours (average 45 hours per week)
