An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Business Information Team, as a Business Informatics Analyst, focusing on Community Health and Locality Services. The post holder will be responsible for the production and development of contractual and statutory reporting as well as developing internal and external reporting to support operational core business and clinical decisions.


The role will be based on site at Trust Headquarters, but travel will be expected to other sites as and when required.


The post holder will have extensive experience in working with contractual and statutory NHS returns, performance monitoring, activity forecasting, SQL, an acute understanding and experience of working with NHS Key Performance Indicators, internal and external stakeholder engagement and Corporate Support within the NHS. You will be highly skilled in data manipulation, analysis and presentation, with experience of using business intelligence (BI) tools.


The successful candidate should expect to work in a fast paced environment, operating to key local and national deadlines. West London NHS Trust is one of the most diverse healthcare providers in the UK, delivering a range of mental health and physical healthcare and community services. Our high secure services care for patients from South of England and we provide low and medium secure services across eight London boroughs. The Trust is an established partner and contributor in the development of the evolving North West London Integrated Care System and the Integrated Care Board. The Trust leads the NW London Children and Adolescent Mental Health provider collaborative.
Professional membership of an Information/Computing/Management association Master's Degree


Extensive experience in performance reporting and information analysis
Ability to analyse, investigate, summarise and present complex data sets appropriately to a range of audience
Experience in data query, extraction and manipulating tools, SQL, Tableau, VB Macros, Excel, Word, Access, Power point
Producing NHS statutory returns and adhering to performance monitoring frameworks requirements

Experience of significant change management and quality improvement projects.
Experience in delivering data quality improvements in complex organisation.
Application and knowledge of the NHS Data dictionary and data sets Working knowledge of performance frameworks
