Job Title: Demolition Estimator

Job Description:
ESD are seeking a skilled and experienced Demolition Estimator to join our clients team in Essex. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates for demolition projects and managing the bidding process for new opportunities. The Demolition Estimator will work closely with the project management team to ensure that all estimates are thorough and complete, and that all projects are bid on competitively.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and timely estimates for demolition projects
- Review project specifications and drawings to determine scope of work
- Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as required
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals
- Prepare and submit final bid packages
- Collaborate with project management team to develop project schedules and budgets
- Participate in project hand-off meetings to ensure smooth transition from estimating to project management
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials and costs
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Demolition Estimator
- Strong knowledge of demolition practices and procedures
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Estimating software
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
