Job Description

We are looking for 3 Lead Techical experts in the Oil & Gas / Chemical / Petrochemical industry. The ideal candidate must be in based in Cheshire.

The role will be on a Permanent basis. They offer long terms career prospects in the UK / Globally / Relocation / Benefits £65k - £90k plus final salary pension Share scheme (Buy 1 get 2 free).

Our Mechanical Integrity Engineers are responsible for the provision of mechanical, corrosion, inspection and materials engineering support to the refinery and petrochemical plant. The key responsibilities include:

  • Providing engineering input to manage the mechanical integrity of our fixed equipment assets.
  • Ensuring compliance to legislation, such as pressure systems safety regulations, through our written schemes of examination.
  • Act as a Technical Advisor to our business teams, providing assistance with risk based decision making, management of change and owners engineering.
  • Assessing equipment condition in the field and defining repair scopes to fixed equipment.
  • Developing worklists for events/turnarounds and supporting work scope creation to ensure safe, reliable operation.
  • Mentoring other engineers, with the aim of developing both our knowledge and people.
  • Client will provide sponsorship as long as the candidate meets the requirements.
