Job Description

Title: Head of Cloud Security Architecture

About theCompany:

About theRole:

As the Head ofCloud Security Architecture, you will oversee the strategic development andimplementation of robust security architectures across our cloud environments.This role demands an experienced leader capable of designing and enforcingadvanced security measures to protect our cloud infrastructure and data againstevolving cybersecurity threats.

Requirements

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain acomprehensive cloud security strategy that aligns with organizational riskmanagement policies.
  • Stay abreast of the latest security threatsand trends to continually refine the security posture of theorganization’s cloud environments.

2. Architectureand System Design :

  • Design and implement security architecturesfor cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
  • Oversee the integration of new securitytechnologies and enhancements into existing cloud environments to improveprevention, detection, and response capabilities.

3. Leadershipand Team Management :

  • Lead a team of cloud security architects andengineers, fostering an environment of professional growth and excellence.
  • Manage and mentor staff, setting clear goalsand expectations, and promoting a culture of high-performance andcontinuous improvement.

4. StakeholderEngagement :

  • Collaborate with IT leaders and businessstakeholders to ensure that security architectures and policies supportthe overall business and IT strategy.
  • Communicate complex security risks andtechnical issues to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and effectivemanner.

5. Complianceand Risk Management :

  • Ensure compliance with international andnational regulatory requirements pertinent to cloud security, such asGDPR, HIPAA, and others.
  • Conduct risk assessments and audits of cloudarchitectures to identify vulnerabilities and implement appropriatesecurity measures.

6. IncidentResponse and Crisis Management :

  • Develop and oversee the execution of incidentresponse plans and activities related to security breaches or othersecurity incidents in cloud environments.
  • Lead forensic investigations into how breacheshappened and the extent of the damage.

RequiredSkills and Qualifications:

· Deep understanding of publiccloud architectures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) with specific expertise inAzure.

· Experience with securitystandards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and SOC 2.

· Proficiency in using advancedthreat modeling tools and methodologies.

Certifications:

· Professional securitymanagement certifications, such as Certified Information Systems SecurityProfessional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), or similar.

Experience:

· Minimum of 10 years incybersecurity, with at least 5 years focused on cloud security architecture.

· Extensive experience designingand implementing security solutions in large-scale cloud environments.

· Expert knowledge of cloudsecurity architectures, best practices, and guidelines.

· Proficiency in securitysystems, including firewalls, encryption protocols, and anti-virus software,with a focus on cloud-based security solutions.

· Strong leadership skills andexperience in managing a technical security team.

· Excellent problem-solvingskills and the ability to manage under pressure.

· Strong communication andinterpersonal skills to effectively convey security needs and solutions.
