SEND Learning Support Assistants Required - East London

This may be within a special school, or within a resourced provison within a mainstream school.
Learning Support Assistants
Contract Type: Flexible work, daily cover or potential long term opportunities
Start Date: Immediate
Daily Rates: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications
Working within special Schools serving pupils aged 4-16 years old
Supporting students with a variety of needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
Be willing to undertake necessary training to acquire skills required to work effectively in a specialist setting.
Collaborate with the staff team to ensure the needs of pupils are prioritized and met effectively.
Embrace opportunities and challenges presented within the role, contributing to the overall success of the school community.
Have experience or an interest in working with children with Learning Difficulties within either an educational setting or transferable sectors such as care & support work.
Hold an NVQ Level 2 or above (desirable).
Be willing to undertake the relevant online CPD courses/training prior to starting the role.
Prioritize the needs of pupils and demonstrate a willingness to learn new roles.
Are flexible in their approach to working with pupils, adapting to meet their diverse needs.
