The Company

Our client is an independent and high quality Wealth Manager, looking after HNW private client investment portfolios.

The Role

The Wealth Management Associate role is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and ambitious individual, keen to progress within Investment Management and with a desire to become an Investment Manager/Wealth Manager or a Wealth Planner longer term.

The successful candidate will be keen to learn and have exposure to Investment Management and Private Clients. This role would suit an enthusiastic and highly motivated Economics or Investment graduate with a strong interest to work with Wealth Management.

Some Wealth Management internship experience would be highly desired.

The Wealth Management Associate will operate in an Investment Managers Assistant role and will support Investment Directors, assisting with high levels of client service to include meeting clients, writing reports relating to client investment portfolios and providing general telephone support to their Clients.

Ensure that Client Suitability is carried out, writing suitability reports following attendance at meetings and ensuring that all aspects of Client Administration is managed in a regulatory and procedurally compliant manner.

The Wealth Management Associate role will include liaising with platform and service providers, supporting investment portfolios and engaging with the custodian and back office if there are specific data points requiring investigation.

The Candidate

2.1 Minimum degree - Economics or Investment Management graduate highly advantageous.

A strong interest to become a Wealth Manager or Wealth Planner longer term.

Willingness to sit Investment exams - IAD, Chartered Wealth Manager qualifications

Proficient and highly motivated with ability to work well in a team environment

Desire to learn with a view to progression within Investment Management.

Excellent Communication Skills

Strong Microsoft Office skills
