Talisman is seeking a Director of Partnership Sales, EMEA to lead and drive the acquisition of regional, pan-regional, and global partners across our diverse portfolio of assets. This individual will be responsible for leading group sales activities in the EMEA region, working closely with the Chief Partnerships Officer to achieve ambitious sales targets.
Lead the development and execution of a strategic sales plan to secure new partnerships, focusing on regional and global opportunities across the EMEA region.
Develop a deep understanding of the market dynamics in EMEA, identifying commercial prospects and building a robust pipeline in line with Talisman’s sales strategy.
Foster the growth of the EMEA partnership team, supporting revenue generation from the EMEA marketplace.
Collaborate with the Global Sales Team to ensure consistency in messaging, asset construction, pricing, and prospect planning.
Create impactful sales presentations and lead the ideation, negotiation, and closing of partnership agreements that maximize revenue and profitability for Talisman and our rights holders.
Employ a creative approach to sales with a determined focus on success throughout the sales cycle.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the sports marketing industry, including rights holders, brands, sports marketing agencies, advertising agencies, media companies, and PR firms.
Stay informed about asset availability and partner requirements to ensure commercial success for our rights holders.
Work with our creative and design team to develop world-class sales materials and oversee the creation of insight documentation for engaged partners.
Bachelor's degree or higher, with a minimum of 5 years of commercial partnership sales experience within the sports or entertainment industry, with a focus on the EMEA region.
Strong negotiation skills and expertise in relationship management.
Excellent communication, coordination, and project management skills, with the ability to mobilize resources effectively.
Experience in managing sales teams.
Competency in standard Microsoft & Google Programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, etc.).
Experience with CRM systems to track data and manage pipeline reporting.
