Our client is a provider of network solutions that is looking for a Network Support Technician to join their expanding team. The Network Support Technician is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to customers experiencing wireless connectivity issues. This role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical problems related to wireless networks and devices. The Network Support Technician will serve as a primary point of contact for customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and effective resolution of wireless network issues.
Responsibilities
• Customer Support:
o Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and chat for wireless network issues.
o Diagnose and troubleshoot wireless connectivity problems for a variety of devices and networks.
o Configure and deploy wireless controllers, access point, routers and other related services/equipment.
o Utilise network monitoring toll to proactively address issues.
o Guide customers through step-by-step solutions to resolve issues.
• Issue Resolution:
o Identify, analyse, and resolve wireless network problems efficiently.
o Monitor wireless network performance and identify areas for improvement.
o Escalate complex issues to higher-level support or engineering teams when necessary.
o Follow up with customers to ensure issues are fully resolved and customers are satisfied.
Skills
o 1+ years of experience in technical support, preferably in a wireless networking or telecommunications environment.
• Technical Skills:
o Strong understanding of wireless networking principles and technologies (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE, etc.).
o Proficiency with wireless network equipment and troubleshooting tools.
o Experience with customer support software and ticketing systems.
• Certifications:
o CWNA (Certified Wireless Network Administrator), or equivalent are a plus.
