The Lulworth Estate is a beautiful, privately owned country estate, home to the world famous Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove. We are committed to providing an exceptional customer experience, attracting both locals and visitors.

We are looking for an experienced Chef De Partie, with a strong background from a similar environment, to become an integral part of our kitchen team at the Man O'War Bar and Restaurant at our beautiful holiday park, overlooking Durdle Door.

Under the guidance of our Head Chef, you will be responsible for ensuring the kitchen is prepared for service and then lead a section during service. All applicants must have a passion for serving excellent food.

This is a well paid role, working 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis with a total of 45 hours per week. The position is seasonal, until October 2024 with the possibility of being made permanent.

*Duties will include but not limited to:*

· Preparing, cooking and presenting high quality dishes including meat, fish and vegetables, displaying great attention to detail and a passion for every dish that leaves our kitchen

· Supporting the Head Chef throughout service, or in the absence of the Head Chef, supporting the team to ensure smooth service, working fast, cleanly and efficiently

· Working with our Head Chef to create menu items, recipes and develop dishes

· Following Health and Safety procedures and completing various kitchen administration

· Monitoring portion control, stock management and controlling wastage

· Communicating efficiently, supporting your teammates and working professionally; aiding in the development and mentoring of our junior kitchen team members
