This is your opportunity to make an impact as a Resourcing Manager overseeing all transactional recruitment activities for your dedicated directorates as well as pan-Trust recruitment projects, providing the best possible resourcing support to operational and clinical colleagues who make a huge difference to our patient's lives. Reporting to the Head of Resourcing, you will be joining another Resourcing Manager (already in post) to engage and advise internal stakeholders on all aspects of recruitment and resourcing, lead and manage a dynamic team of Resourcing Advisors to deliver end to end recruitment within agreed KPIs and ensure a flawless candidate and hiring manager experience. In return, we will support your professional development by way of our in-house courses and work with you to ensure that we help you on your road to becoming a credible Resourcing leader of the future. Closing Date: 9th December 2024 Proposed Interview Date: 18th December 2024 (in person) Main duties of the job- You will have an experienced background in successfully supporting recruitment delivery in the NHS or public sector and an ability to work with colleagues and managers with all levels of experience. With the capability to switch between the detail and the bigger picture, you will have an appetite to deliver positive results at pace, working as part of a team to achieve this when needed.
- Ensure the Recruitment team provide an efficient and timely recruitment service to Trust Managers in accordance with Trust procedures, ensuring that practices comply with current legislation and Trust policies.
- Contribute to GOSH's resourcing strategy to ensure that GOSH becomes an employer of choice.
- Develop candidate attraction strategies to source difficult to fill roles.
- Work with the Head of Resourcing to develop new recruitment drives for the effective recruitment of staff by attending conferences, job fairs and exhibitions. Design and implement an annual recruitment plan to ensure the directorate workforce plan is met.
- Provide line management responsibility for Senior Resourcing Advisors and Recruitment Advisors and oversee their personal and professional development. Ensure that the agreed development plans are in place for all reports to ensure succession planning.

- Educated to degree level, or equivalent professional experience working within the field of human resources.
- Evidence of ongoing personal and professional development
- HR/Recruitment knowledge gained through theoretical learning and extensive Resourcing experience
- Expert in recruitment who can demonstrate a sound knowledge of what excellence looks like in the end-to-end resourcing process
- Experience of working within a high volume recruitment setting
- Significant experience of managing recruitment and resourcing activity
- Experience of working within the public sector or NHS
- Experience in digital recruitment systems innovation, transformation and problem solving
- Experience of planning/scoping and running recruitment projects including cohort recruitment and apprenticeships
- Experience of using TRAC, NHS Jobs and ESR
- Experience of leading, managing and motivating teams
- Knowledge of employment procedures and legislation
- Knowledge of NHS Agenda for Change terms and conditions
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills
- Able to manage and handle sensitive information and difficult messages in an effective and empathic way
- Able to deliver messages effectively at all levels. Must be able to make an impact at all levels within the organisation to motivate and enthuse others of the need for change
- Ability to work with unpredictable situations and under pressure and to tight deadlines with frequent interruptions
- Ability to analyse and interpret data, prepare and present briefing papers and reports
- Ability to advise line managers on the planning, design and management of effective recruitment campaigns.
- Well developed skills in planning and effective management of complex or highly sensitive matters regarding resourcing and retention, including the withdrawal of offers of employment.
- Confident in the use of the full range of Microsoft Office applications and ability to utilise this software to develop and analyse information.
