Fire Glass UK Ltd is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers, suppliers, and glaziers of fire and acoustic glass, and is looking to appoint a full-time Factory Operative at their Edinburgh Branch, based in Scotland.
The successful applicant would also receive training in different aspects of the glass trade with the opportunity to learn a new skill set and progress within the company.
A Driving License is required.
Work in line with all quality processes, conducting relevant quality checks and liaising with Supervisors and Production Managers on a daily basis to discuss quality and production targets.
Assisting with preparing glass loads for customers, supporting drivers to load or offload vehicles as necessary and ensuring correct paperwork is used/completed
Maintaining a high standard of workplace housekeeping and carrying out daily/weekly checks on equipment and machinery
Working in a controlled and safe manner in line with Health and Safety policies, wearing appropriate PPE at all times and immediately reporting defects/accidents/near misses
