We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual to join us as a Developer in a fast-paced and dynamic development team involved throughout the software development life cycle.

As a Developer, you will gain exposure to a wide range of exciting and cutting-edge technologies and will be involved in supporting existing systems across several products as well as the development of new functionality.

We are looking for a good communicator who will discuss and clarify requirements with the stakeholder throughout the software development lifecycle.

PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 2 years commercial software development experience.
  • Be prepared to work as part of a team and work towards tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work with your own initiative and prioritise workload accordingly.
  • Ability to communicate appropriately with management, team members, customers and third parties.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical and problem-solving skills.
  • A passion for self-learning and adopting new technologies.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyse, design and code new software modules as per the agreed technical specifications.
  • Create and maintain program documentation and version release notes.
  • Perform first level testing of your own projects and second level testing of modules developed by other team members.
  • Ensure new functions are compatible with the existing systems.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Development knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2017/2019 – inclusive of writing SQL queries, functions, stored procedures and triggers.
  • Understanding of relational database concepts & design.
  • Knowledge of RESTful Web API

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

  • Understanding of Agile Development
  • Test Driven Development
  • Experience working with .Net Core
  • Working knowledge of Node.js or React development
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI or AppVeyor
