Electrical Maintenance Engineer
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to carry out the PPM and Reactive activities in accordance with our contractual agreements for Liverpool University.
Day to day duties for this role include but are not limited to:- Maintain a close liaison and working relationship with the Engineering Team, Contract Delivery Manager, and Engineering Manager
- Attend all allocated Internal/External training courses
- Completion of SFG20/HTM PPMs, reactive and proactive tasks and in turn update the CAFM system via PDA to meet contractual obligations
- Ensure that daily checks are completed and repair or report any defects using the helpdesk or reactive works ticketing system via PDA
- Maintain accurate records for both ppm and reactive works
- Ensure Electrical engineering standards are maintained to maximize efficient operation and reliability of plant and associated systems
- Ensure any accidents and near misses are reported to line managers
- Maintain and supervise issues arising, ongoing works, special task requests, standard of housekeeping
- Comply with both statutory and company health, safety, and environmental regulations and policies
- Timely implementation and recording of all statutory inspections including accurate recording of all electrical work undertaken
- Where necessary, be available to attend out-of-hours calls when required
