Rhames Ltd are one of the UKs leading electro mechanical specialist within the waste water, pharmaceuticaland brewing industries, rhames operates from its centrally based headquarters in Nottingham providing clients with turn-key design, project management & manufacturing/ maintenance services, rhames is also the UKs sole distributor for Flottweg and the sole remaining manufacturer of drum thickeners.We are looking for a bright, dynamic, self-motivated, forward thinking individual to join our business as a PSE Planner/Co-ordinator. Job Scope & Key Responsibilities The PSE Planner / Co-ordinator is an integral part of the team and will be required to be organised, disciplined with good communication and people skills. Working in conjunction with and supporting the heads of each division and co-ordinating the PSE team. This is an evolving role and has great scope for development, the main duties will be:- Co-ordinate and organise our field-based engineers with job deployment, this will involve distribution of jobs which will include precise instruction, timescales etc. Ensuring full support is given to field-based Engineers Co-ordinate PSE related works brought into the workshop for remedials ensuring timescales are met and the equipment/assets are delivered back to location in a timely manner. Forward planning & scheduling assigned jobs into workboards Be the IT champion for the PSE division (creating jobs, closing jobs, assigning equipment, assigning engineers, completing and distributing reports, checking and monitoring H&S reports, inspections etc, control of purchase order numbers, overall control of jobs assigned to your name and within the divisions, reporting to the head of department your colleagues IT performance) Monitor job progress and communicate accordingly internally & externally ensuring customer liaison is regularly maintained Review the new jobs in on a daily basis and determine the requirements Attend and participate in daily meetings & weekly project meetings Component purchasing / Devising BOM with engineers Provide technical information for the jobs (i.e distribute drawings) where required Feedback any resource concerns or issued raised from the team members to the relevant Manager Ensure internal processes are being adhered to and accurate information is being gathered on our job handling system Deploying RAMS to customers that require them and attaching them to our IT system Contribute to or seek technical advice as & when required Where specifically identified, assist with engineering drawings on solids works / Auto Cad Other duties relevant to your role or the business requirements
