The Lloyd’sEmerging Risk team are at the forefront of the global risk managementindustry, where they develop novel quantitative solutions for risksthat are yet to be fully understood that may have significantconsequences for the insurance industry. This role requires someonewith advanced knowledge of SQL, R and/or Python and the knowledge oftools and techniques used to analyse large volumes of data. Whilst youwill have involvement in all aspects of emerging risks, it would bebeneficial to have a passion for understanding Cyber risks, thecuriosity as to what these could look like in the future and how thesecan be mitigated through advanced predictive modelling.

You will:

  • Provide high qualityquantitative analysis based on internal and external data Contribute to Markets Emerging Risk Strategy Contribute tomethods to evaluate the Markets emerging risk landscape and driveimplications for Markets, including risk ranking
  • Support the development of new analytical solutions for theaggregation of emerging risks Work on novel approaches forthe quantification of emerging risks and exposures Including,but not limited to, the Lloyd’s Cyber Model
  • Support the delivery of strategic projects, providing insights andexpertise when required Including, but not limited to, theLloyd’s Cyber Strategy Translate Futureset output intomarket-relevant deliverables
  • Assist in theidentification, analysis, and quantification of emerging risksimpacting the underwriting portfolio at Lloyd’s Evaluate theemerging risk landscape and analyse the implications for the market,including risk ranking Develop relationships with the widerPortfolio Risk Management team to perform interdisciplinary tasks
