Senior C++ Software Engineer required to build front-office trading platform A Senior C++ Software Engineer is required by this leading financial services organisation. The company is a highly profitable investment banking business, an established brand renowned for technology innovation. Their experienced engineering team is responsible for building reliable, low-latency systems used by their front-office teams. The company operates across Capital Markets, the company seeks to expand its Agile software engineering team and hire a Senior C++ Software Engineer

The Senior C++ Software Engineer will;

  • Contribute to the design and development of the clients core trading engine.
  • Work on greenfield engineering projects through the full development life cycle.
  • Work directly with senior stakeholders and board-level members
  • Liaise closely with the internal teams to ensure front-office team requests are answered effectively and efficiently

The Senior C++ Software Enginer will need to have:

  • Demonstrable experience leading software development projects within the finance sector
  • Proven experience building software within the financial services sector - desirable.
  • Strong C++ experience
  • Experience working in a low-latency environment is a must-have.
  • An interest in CI/CD and automation is a distinct advantage.

The Senior C++ Software Engineer will work in an environment that is dynamic with a flat structure and will appeal to hands-on, positive individuals who are interested in joining a company at a relatively early stage of development. The Senior Software Engineer will be able to influence development strategy, implement new techniques and take responsibility for building the software development team further.
