Service Improvement Manager- Azure

3 month contract with a view to extend

Nottingham- 5 days onsite per week

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a leading Retailer in Nottingham for a Service Improvement Manager to join an IT Data & Analytics Team.

As Service Improvement Manager you will be responsible for day-to-day platform administration of the cloud Data platform, hosted on Microsoft Azure.

The role has accountability for overseeing service incidents, collaborating with Global internal and external teams for resolution, supporting platform deployments and change requests, maintenance/continuous improvement activities and overall administration of the cloud platform.

Coordinating build & release activities in Microsoft Azure to support the delivery of products and services on the platform.

Supporting and managing small changes or managing other teams that will deliver the small change that could be solution enhancements or complete solutions that may be developed rapidly. Solutions may be of a data processing or analytical nature based on any of the technologies and applications within our architecture therefore an analytical approach to diagnosing issues is key.

Providing recommendations for more enduring improvements to service and managing/implementing the changes where appropriate. Ensuring solutions delivered into service are fit for purpose and fit to support as you will take on the maintenance of these services.

Assessing and providing access to services on request: data access, system access etc. and playing a key role in the design and development of the enterprise support model; building solutions to streamline the process.

Contributing to team and company projects, responding to data queries.

This is a 3 month contract initially and likely to be extended 12 months +

The role falls inside IR35 so you’d need to work via an umbrella company
