Dispensary Pharmacist - NHS Hospital - Band 6 - Kent

The team are seeking Pharmacists to join their dispensary team from April 2024. This is a fantastic chance for career progression at speed, as training will be provided across the various dispensary aspects of the role depending on your skill set. You do not need to have previous hospital experience. Duties of a Dispensary Pharmacist To take professional responsibility for the clinical screening of prescriptions to ensure the accuracy, legality, safety, and effectiveness of prescribed medication in line with pharmacy SOPTo identify potential risks to patients when screening prescriptions and resolve relevant issues prior to dispensing
To liaise with doctors and nurses to resolve any queries arising from the screening process
To provide advice on the safe prescribing and administration of medicines
