You will ideally have 3 years experience in a similar role. You will ensure all payroll processes are completed accurately, to a high standard and within the set time frames. The role also combines financial support for accounts receivable and accounts payable duties, so that a professional and efficient service is delivered to key stakeholders within the business Duties and Responbilities

  • Coordinate and prepare monthly payroll for business
  • Manage salary deductions, additions, pension contributions, absences and any other payroll administration as required
  • Processing of new starters and leavers and all associated tasks
  • Efficient resolution of any payroll queries
  • Lead in any payroll audits and participation in any financial audits as required
  • Support with internal and external accounts receivable (revenue) reporting and administration
  • Support with internal and external accounts payable (costs) reporting and administration
  • Support with month/year end processes for the department
  • Accounts payable duties such as purchase order processing, supplier payment runs, company credit card reconciliation etc.
Skills and Experience
  • Must have at least 3 years’ experience in payroll processing
  • Experience with an IRIS payroll system is preferred, but not essential
  • Experience with a financial accounting system is desirable, but not essential.
  • Qualified / part qualified to AAT level would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Must have meticulous attention to detail
  • Must have excellent communication skills
