The client is the only supplier of packaging to the biggest QSR business in the world.
Job DescriptionThe key responsibilities include:
- Globally lead the development, alignment, and execution of specific product strategies and roadmaps in support of overall category needs. Example of products are fiber cups, clamshells/cartons, wraps, carry-out bags, etc.
- In collaboration with Category & Standards teams, improve and enhance processes to optimise the product management service delivery
- Complete strategic reviews per calendar and processes, including tendering, that yield desired product-line outcomes (e.g. savings, innovation, etc)
- Responsible for the following activities: Value chain mapping, Product capacity and contingency, Cost / Spend detail, Should cost model and current performance, Produce price forecasting, Multi-year roadmap for product shifts, cost shifts, capacity shifts, Partner with Product Development and Vendor Management leads in the execution of specific product strategies and roadmaps
The ideal candidate will have a background in:
- 5+ years' experience in supply chain, category management, and procurement activities
- Experience in delivering of category executions that result in measurable outcomes (e.g. innovation, supply chain stability, sustainability, cost savings)
- Understanding of the packaging manufacturing processes and/or packaging materials
- Very strong critical thinking capabilities
- Strong analytical capabilities
- Highly collaborative
- Influence without authority
