Platform Security Analyst "DevSecOps"
Remote
£Working in a wonderful retail brand, this role is to secure the ecommerce platform. The website, mobile app, loyalty card schemes and promotions, all built on opensource technologies and cloud infrastructure.
You will be the subject matter expert in a team of engineers, providing the security expertise and hands-on management of tooling, monitoring and response to threats.
There is a 3rd party SOC for the routine. This role is responsible for making sure the platform and colleagues developing it, are suitably security focussed.
Linux System Security, system hardening, patching, security scanning and efficiency, implement and maintain security measures.
· CI / CD Pipeline and Automation, automating operational processes to improve system reliability, security and performance.
· Advanced Security Monitoring and Testing, utilising tools like New Relic, Cloudflare, and Alert Logic for security monitoring and intrusion detection, conduct security testing (manual and automated) with OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, focusing on CVE vulnerabilities.
· Ecommerce Specific Best Practices, improve stringent security measures for checkout, registration, and login processes, including robust authentication and encryption. Safeguard loyalty program data, addressing vulnerabilities specific to customer rewards and personal data protection.
· Incident Response and Reporting, lead incident response, focusing on swift and effective management of security related issues. Preparing detailed incident reports, communicating findings and recommendations to stakeholders and address CVE-related security issues with precision and expertise.
· Communicate effectively with stakeholders, technical and non technical regarding security measures in critical ecommerce processes.
· Conduct security audits and risk assessments, with a special focus on ecommerce-specific areas.
Experience and knowledge of full SDLC and DevOps pipelines
Ideally you will have a development background or DevOps recently
