About the Opportunity

MBN Solutions are exclusively retained to support our client in the search for a Head of IT to join their growing team.

Our client are a well-established retail company that have experienced steady growth since its inception, and have ambitious growth plans over the coming years to double their UK retail presence.

As a result, they have an exciting opportunity for a Senior IT Manager to join the team. The role will report directly to Director level, and will focus on providing strategic leadership, and take ownership of the IT Operations within the company. Within the role, you can expect to:

  • Develop & execute an IT strategy that aligns with business goals, drives growth & enhances customer experiences across all touchpoints.
  • Work closely with marketing, finance, and other departments to align IT strategies with business needs and objectives.
  • Establish key performance metrics for IT projects, manage budgets, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business goals.Manage the IT budget to ensure technology investments are cost-effective whilst ensuring value to the business.
  • Oversee IT infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security & business continuity with robust disaster recover & cybersecurity measures.
  • Lead a high performing IT team, foster collaboration, and manage relationships with vendors to source & implement cost-effective IT solutions.
  • Stay ahead of emerging tech trends to recommend and implement innovations that improve operational efficiency and customer experience.

About You

We are looking for the following skills/experience:

  • Proven experience in a similar IT Management position leading a small IT team.
  • Strong knowledge & expertise working with Microsoft 365 technologies – Dynamics experience is essential.
  • Proven experience in effectively managing, engaging, influencing, and challenging senior level stakeholders.
  • The ability to ensure robust regulatory adherence and proficiency in safeguarding data and systems.
  • Experience in managing external vendor relationships.
  • Skilled in overseeing multiple, simultaneous IT projects.

  • Cisco Qualifications.
  • CompTIA Qualifications.
