Job Description:

The System Administrator will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization. This role involves ensuring the smooth running of IT operations, monitoring system performance, and implementing security protocols. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in IT, computer systems engineering, or systems engineering and analysis.

Experience Required:

• Candidate must have Engineering / Diploma in Computer Science or relevant experience of minimum 7 years in the Cloud & Datacenter services domain.

• Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.

• Experience with various operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and macOS.

• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and tools.

• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.

• Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.

• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python).

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Relevant certifications: (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Red Hat Certified System Administrator) are a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

There are following tasks to be performed by IT Operations Technician but these tasks are

not limited to:

• Install, configure and maintain Operating system on Cloud virtualized servers, networking.

• Monitor and maintain system performance ensuring high level of availability and security.

• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, providing technical support to the client.

• Perform regular system updates, patches and software upgrades.

• Maintain and manage backup, disaster recovery process to maintain the service level for the client.

• Create the virtual machine of Windows, Linux, Unix or OS required for the client as per their order.

• Assist and provide the support to the client at OS and network level for application deployment by client.

• Work closely with the customer’s IT Team to provide support on any issues related to Cloud Servers, IT Infrastructure and adhere to maintain the Service Level Agreements. This must be restricted and limited to the IT infra hosted inside the Datacenter of Trijit. Trijit does not provide support to the IT infra at customer side.

• Provide any IT related Support to cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations;

• Prepare regular reports for maintaining the service level for the customers.

• Manage the Laptop, Desktop and other IT infra for internal employees and its associated software installation, maintenance. It also includes taking care of the printers, scanners, network switches, routers, wiFi, VLAN etc to manage & maintain it.
