This job opportunity is ideal for an underwriter with prior experience in a brokerage or packaging setting, eager to refine their skills within a mortgage lending environment. Additionally, seasoned 2nd charge underwriters from lending institutions seeking advancement opportunities will find this position appealing, particularly if they aspire to grow into leadership roles. The salary is negotiable based on the level of experience.
Enter and update borrower data on the lending platform.
Ensure all aspects of the loans are recorded accurately on the CRM and meet underwriting guidelines.
Assess the mortgage application to ensure all aspects of our underwriting criteria are met.
Ensure all underwriting is in line with Company policy and within regulation.
Ensure that all cases are Underwritten within the group’s Risk appetite.
Work experience with a mortgage broker, packager or lender, underwriting or packaging residential or second charge applications
