Talent Accountancy & Finance are working with a luxury brand based in Manchester who are looking to hire a keen and pro-active Purchase Ledger Clerk.
The role is based on-site just outside of Manchester City Centre and will report into the Management Accountant with a key focus on the end-to-end processing on the Purchase Ledger on their newly implemented Microsoft Dynamics package.
The package on offer for this role is as follows:
* Salary up to £30,000
* 25 days holiday + bank holidays

*The Role*
Day to day the role will include the full Purchase Ledger process along with a team wide effort to ensure the new accounts package is running optimally.
The key responsibilities are as follows:
* Accurately coding & posting purchase invoices
* Building relationships and liaising directly with suppliers to resolve any invoicing queries
* Matching stock invoices to PO’s
* Gaining approvals from relevant colleagues for Purchase Invoices
* Completing weekly payments runs
* Performing supplier statement reconciliations
* Supporting with the setting up & implementation of invoice processing software to aid accurate and quick invoice posting
* Opening and distributing the post
*The Person*
We are looking for someone who is pro-active and takes pride in completing their work accurately to ensure the Purchase Ledger is tidy & complete each month.
In terms of experience, some high-volume Purchase Ledger work is mandatory but most importantly someone that is very positive, up for a challenge and has a can-do attitude & approach to their work.
Someone with the following will do well in this role:
* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or even the older version such as Business Central or Microsoft Navision
* Good excel skills – being able to manipulate data sets ie vlookups, basic formulas etc.
* Experience working with multiple currencies & multiple entities
* Desire to learn and develop & take on more responsibilities as they grow in the role
* Able to effectively management their time to ensure important tasks are prioritised
* High attention to detail
* Organised and methodical in their approach to work
