Due to a period of rapid growth, my client is currently recruiting for an experienced field service pumps engineer to cover the Midlands area. The successful candidate be given 28 days holiday per year plus numerous performance related bonuses along with an generous annual salary Job role overview To take responsibility for the commissioning of new foul and surface water pumping stations. Responsible for the execution, control and completion of commissioning on projects throughout the UK, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. Key Responsibilities & Duties: Major Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Joining an exciting and fast-paced production team the ideal candidate will be a motivated individual installing and commissioning pumping equipment. We are one the UK’s market leading companies in the supply, manufacture, design, install and service of pumps, valves and control equipment, is looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join their Pumping Stations Team. Attend to breakdowns when necessary. Be prepared to stay away from home when required, 1 night per week. Complete Site Reports after each visit and obtain customer signature where possible. Ensure company vehicle is stocked with van-stock & tools required at all times. Driving to and from site within the U.K. Ensure all materials are available and correct before leaving the works to carry out your allocated work. . Complete time sheets on a weekly basis. ANY OTHER DUTIES NECESSARY Be flexible to the requirements of the business Observe and maintain the company’s Health & Safety Policy Undertake any other duties that may be required from time to time Teamwork and Leadership Responsibilities Main Activities and Performance standards Articulate clearly to customers, suppliers, staff Immaculate presentation in regard of oneself; ones environment, documents, marketing and products Abide by communication protocol for all Team Members. Email & phone calls must be responded to within 24 hrs Essential Criteria Industry relevant product experience CSCS and Confined Space 17th Edition Testing and Inspection City and Guilds/NVQ3 Electrical Engineering Knowledge and experience in organisational effectiveness Preferred skills: Planning and organising skills Team building skills Analytical and problem solving skills Decision making skills Influencing and leading Verbal and listening communication skills Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Effective written communication skills Computer skills including the spreadsheet and e-mail at a highly proficient level Time management skills Solid commitment to customer or employee service.
