NRL are currently looking to recruit a Mechanical Fitter to work for a client of ours in the Nuclear industry to be based in Warrington.


Providing a wide range of practical mechanical support services and pipefitting, including high pressure pipework.
Working safely, in accordance with risk assessments, method statements and permit to work systems.
Providing service to project and laboratory managers, ranging from maintaining, fault finding and repairing existing plant and equipment, to manufacturing components and specimens, and building new test rigs.
Ensuring all work complies with project documentation and technical specifications.
Completion of tasks to time, cost, quality to meet both internal and external customer requirements
Provide advice on technical, safety and operational aspects based on knowledge of plant and equipment, including pressure systems and test rigs with moving parts.
Experience of hands-on mechanical fitting is essential, and applicants must have excellent practical skills and experience.
Swagelok training and experience would be highly beneficial but is not essential.
Competence in the use of a wide range of tools, which may periodically involve use of a lathe and welding equipment.
Possession of current lifting, rigging and forklift truck driving certificates is not essential but is desirable.
