Principal Engineer

NES Fircroftare currently recruiting for a Principal Process Engineer to join their client's business on a long-term contract opportunity. The Principal Process Engineer will be required to lead the Process Engineering on projects and support the Head of Department as required. It is expected the individual would be have experience in Brownfield and Greenfield projects, covering FEED and EPC work.


Responsible for delivery of all Process Engineering project activities and deliverables within budget and schedule
Produce and review specifications, data sheets, schedules, study reports, and design calculations; ensuring that they conform to engineering quality, competence, and project management systems
Develop engineering philosophies, equipment specifications and monitor project/contractor/vendor compliance to these
Provide sound technical advice and solutions to a diversity of technical problems within the discipline
BSc / BEng in an appropriate engineering discipline
Proven experience in general engineering; with experiencein the Process & Energy business sector focusing on the design office.
Well-developed computer skills and knowledge of databases, spreadsheets, and engineering design programs.
Understanding of British and common international standards in the Process & Energy Sector
