Polytec are looking for an enthusiastic Embedded Software Developer to debug complex real time issues for our client based just north of Cambridge.

Responsibilities:

* Requirements analysis
* Design
* Implementation
* Developer Test
* Fault fixing

Requirements:

* Degree in a relevant discipline
* Excellent knowledge of a variety of programming languages (C, C++, Java, Kotlin)
* Experience with real-time, multi-processor, multi-threaded, event-driven software
* Embedded Linux Kernel and user-space software development experience of a commercially released product
* Excellent debugging skills
* Experience with development tools for debugging, profiling, code coverage, memory leak detection
* Experience of using configuration management and fault tracking tools
* Innovative with proven ability to generate new ideas and approaches to problems
