HAZARDOUS WASTE EXPERIENCED SITE CHEMIST WITH SEVERAL YEARS EXEPRIENCE, OR EXPERIENCE IN A SUPERVISORY ROLE REQUIRED TO WORK AT A BUSY RECEPTION SITE & TRANSFER STATION
DOE Plus Pension and Benefits
Taking and analysing hazardous waste samples including liquids (including acids, alkalis, oils, petrol, effluent, and diesel), coatings, paints, thinners.
Loading and unloading hazardous waste from vehicles
Leading a team (depending on experience)
Ensuring compliance within Safety, Environmental and Company policy
Preparation of processed waste streams for National Distribution
You will have at least 1-2 Years for a chemist and 3-5 years’ experience for a Senior Chemist working in the Hazardous Waste Sector
You will have a good standard of verbal and written communication, and be competent in Outlook, Word and Excel. YOU WILL HAVE a HNC in Chemistry or higher. Biology or Forensics will be considered ideally at Degree level where sufficient Chemistry modules were included
FLT License
IOSH of NEBOSH safety qualification or similar
