At XE, our IT Business Systems Team ensures the efficient delivery of critical applications to ensure every member of staff at XE can operate at 100% effectiveness.
 Xe has made great progress along an exciting transition to Agile ways of working. Our teams have embraced the Scrum framework. We are driving software craftsmanship through chapters and guilds. Most of our repos are now aligned to faster container-based deployments with CI/CD pipelines. In this role, you will work in an agile fashion to deliver and own a new mobile and web application built upon a robust and highly available shared, headless API back-end.

Connect & Achieve : You will contribute to the full software development lifecycle of the Xe Consumer App, Web application and supporting services. Collaborate with Product Owners, UX designers and architects to find the most appropriate solution or approach. And be part of a growing team which delights and excites millions of our customers resulting in increased revenue through App or Web of 20%.
Team Player: You will be part of the team and mentor and support junior developers, including through pair-programming and code reviews. Actively participate in coding chapters and workshops. We are looking for a mid-level / senior front-end developer who is proficient in Vue.js and has a passion for creating engaging and user-friendly web applications.
 
Proficiency in Vue or other similar frameworks and experience developing web applications.
Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles.
Knowledge of main JavaScript build tools and module bundlers.
Understanding of UX/UI design principles and the ability to collaborate closely with designers to create visually appealing and intuitive interfaces.
Familiarity with testing frameworks or libraries.
Knowledge of TypeScript and the Composition API for writing clean and maintainable code.
Familiarity with writing unit tests using Vitest or Jest, and knowledge of e2e testing frameworks such as Playwright and Cypress.
Understanding of JavaScript build tools and module bundlers like Vite/Rollup/Webpack.
Additional familiarity with UX/UI design principles and tools.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and effective collaboration with other developers and stakeholders.
