Job Description

Seatronics, part of Acteon Group, supplies specialist subsea solutions pursuing excellence both in engineering capability and customer support. Our continually developing expertise allows us to provide full service capability on demand encompassing rental, sales, service and repair, calibration, personnel and asset management.

We are currently recruiting for an Logistics Coordinator to join the team on a full time, permanent basis .

Based in Westhill , Aberdeen you will support the Sales Engineers to manage the logistics of the rental and sales pools run in line with client requirements. By liaising with external agencies and internal departments, you will ensure that the import and export needs of the Seatronics division are met and that Company procedures are followed.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Processing hire/sales orders on stock system
  • Arranging collections for items to be dispatched in Aberdeen, including international freight
  • For shipments with Controlled Goods ensure the export compliance procedure has been followed and liaise with Sales team should any additional details be required from the client prior to arranging shipping
  • Ensure all documents are retained and filed appropriately for future use
  • Track the air/sea shipments through to final delivery
  • Ensure that all shipments are undertaken in line with customer expectations in terms of standard service, costs and time frames
  • Attend all monthly/quarterly operations review meetings with assigned customers
  • Oversee all paperwork is kept to ISO 9001 and compliance standards
  • Participate and support process improvements discussions


Requirements

  • Certificate level qualification, ideally in a business subject is desirable
  • Minimum of one year experience of office administration in an administrative environment is preferable
  • Experience in freight/shipping/import-export documentation
  • Experience of effectively organising and prioritising workload to meet deadlines
  • Works effectively without close supervision
  • Knowledge of import and export regulations
