An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Estimator to join our team in Wrexham.
They focus on building quality, high specification projects. They create new build houses and apartment blocks along with Health Care Centres and Residential Homes.
They are looking for a talented senior estimator to join our commercial team to work on our significant new business pipeline.
Produce tenders for new projects
* Production of accurate take offs for projects.
* Production and update of procurement schedules for all projects.
* Prepare the required documents to issue to subcontractors to enable them to tender effectively for works packages.
* Identify appropriate subcontractors for all aspects of works.
* Assist in the financial appraisal of new opportunities.
* Navigates and understands building codes.
* Processes paperwork and travels to building sites as required.
* Senior Estimator Qualifications and Skills:
* Proficiency in demonstrating proposals and projects
* Knowledge of the latest building codes
* Fuel Card
* Car Allowance
* Government Standard Pension
Professional qualifications or experience in quantity surveying / building estimation
* A proven track record of estimating projects for residential dwellings over £3m.
* Ideally experience in working within affordable housing markets.
* Timber Frame and Traditional Build experience desirable
Day shift
* Monday to Friday
