We have an exciting opening for a passionate and committed individual to join our team as a Deputy Manager at a Children's Home located in Solihull. This position is within a small facility dedicated to serving children and young people with complex needs and challenging behaviours, operated by a reputable organization. Solihull, situated in the vibrant West Midlands, is renowned for its picturesque suburbs and bustling town centre. With excellent transportation links including major roadways, rail connections, and convenient bus services, Solihull ensures easy access for seamless travel within and around the area.
The role involves shifts, with a schedule of 2 on and 4 off.
•Active management and leadership are crucial aspects of the role.
Previous experience in a senior/team leader or deputy manager position within a children's residential setting is essential.
•Possession of a Level 3 Children & Young People qualification is mandatory.
•Overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure compliance with relevant laws, protocols, policies, and the facility's Statement of Purpose.
•Providing guidance and support to staff members to enhance the well-being of young individuals, striving for excellence in care standards.
•Ensuring the delivery of high-quality care for children and young people.
•Leading, managing, and developing individuals and the team while maintaining effective quality standards.
•Facilitating effective induction for all staff, supervising trained staff, providing mentorship, and conducting assessments.
