Job Description

An outstanding opportunity to develop and grow a Transaction Services line within a mature and highly respected Accounting and Audit firm. The organisation is looking to strengthen its existing proposition with the appointment of a leader for the business.

The firm has a large client base to which it offers a range of complementary services and is able to leverage strong relationships to generate significant volumes of work in the financial and vendor due diligence space.

Key responsibilities:

  • Leading financial and vendor due diligence assignments.
  • Stakeholder engagement, overseeing all aspects of delivery.
  • Provide sell side support to business owners.
  • Leading the growth and expansion of the transaction services line
  • To develop and nurture junior staff
  • Build strong firm wide relationships.

We are looking for an individual with a strong track record in financial and vendor due diligence. You will be able to demonstrate detailed knowledge of technical aspects involved in both buy and sell side and have the ability to translate SPAs from an accounting perspective. Mid market and wide sector knowledge will be an advantage.

Whilst there is a strong track record and future pipeline of work, you will want to take ownership of the service line and build your case for partnership. This will require someone with a leadership mindset, someone who is comfortable with all aspects of business development. It's a fantastic opportunity for someone either currently working at (or on the cusp of) Director level in another practice. A chance to take over an established business line generating excellent fee income but requires a leader to take it to the next level.
