A leading SaaS business based in Birmingham, are seeking a Solutions Architect to join on an initial 6 month project. They're at the forefront of providing cutting-edge solutions to businesses worldwide. As they embark on the next phase of growth throughout Europe, this role will play a pivotal role in shaping the tech landscape going forwards.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Design scalable, reliable, and secure architecture for SaaS applications.
Develop architecture blueprints and technical documentation.
Provide guidance and support to development teams during implementation phases.
Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies and tools.
Ensure alignment of solutions with industry best practices and compliance standards.
Lead architecture reviews and participate in cross-functional discussions.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in the SaaS industry.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience as a Solution Architect in a SaaS environment.
Strong understanding of cloud computing principles, preferably knowledge in AWS or Azure.
Proficiency in architecting microservices-based applications.
Solid grasp of modern software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to analyse complex problems and propose innovative solutions.
Familiarity with security protocols and best practices in SaaS environments.
