Job Description

What will you be doing? As an Anchorage Civil Engineer, you will join Bristol team to support our activities within the Nuclear sector. Your main responsibilities will be:

  1. Receive, analyse and verify the consistency of the input of data
  2. Coordinate the work of CAD designer in conjunction with the Design office manager
  3. Perform design activities for fastenings in concrete
  4. Perform technical verifications of civil engineering documents for the buildings
  5. Responsible for anchorage design activities

Who are we looking for?

Anchorage Civil engineer that ensures production and monitoring of the civil engineering of the buildings on the nuclear island Engineers that have knowledge of preparing detailed engineering drawings, calculations, and reports using industry-standard software

Qualifications

Experience, skills and qualifications required:

  1. Knowledge and understanding of relevant health and safety regulations
  2. Experience in the nuclear sector and plant layout engineering would be advantageous
  3. Understand the Eurocodes related to civil engineering and especially knowledge of the design of fastenings in concrete
  4. Experience of the design of reinforced concrete and pre-stressed concrete structures
