Our team in London provide front-end studies, engineering, procurement and project management services for initiating and executing oil and gas field, HVDC, renewable energy and carbon capture developments.

What will you be doing?
  • Responsible for delivering quality engineering for Instrumentation & control / automation design for Oil & Gas onshore/offshore and Renewable energy projcts.
  • Be able to perform engineering for different project phases from initial feasibility study, concept design, basic design to final detailed design.
  • Prepare and finish all the documents and drawings for the detailed design phase and update and revise the related documents and drawings on time according to construction requirements.
  • Prepare automation & metering philosophies, functional specifications and system / network topology for automation systems
  • Prepare technical scope of work & requisition package, preparing technical evaluation / recommendation report, bid clarification meetings with suppliers and review of supplier documents for automation systems such as DCS / PCS, ESD, PSD and Fire & Gas
  • Prepare I/O schedules, control narratives, Cause & effect diagrams and System Control diagrams (SCD)
  • Automation system design, SAS, SIL, F&G, and emergency systems
  • Select various types of field instruments used for pressure / temperature / flow / level measurements
  • Carry out / review sizing calculations for flow instruments, control valves, pressure safety valves and actuator sizing
  • Prepare data sheets & requisitions, technical evaluation / recommendation reports and review of the supplier drawing
  • Interface coordination with other engineering disciplines and third parties
  • Ability to manage and plan own work scope and that of assigned engineers/ designers.
  • Prepare and complete all the documents according to local authorities' requirements
  • Attend co-ordination and engineering review meetings as per project requirements
We think you should have:
  • Front End, FEED and EPC experience in the onshore/offshore oil & gas and/or renewable energy industry
  • Previous experience in leadership/supervisory position
  • Experience in any instrumtation design engineering, including SAS, ICSS and Field instrumentation
  • Experience of multiple office execution/workshare
